This is an ideal course for beginner climbers with little to no experience climbing on rock. We’ll explore the basic skills that will progress you into becoming a more competent climber; from understanding technical rope work skills to utilising the fundamentals of movement and balance. This course is aimed at people looking to get into climbing on real rock.
This is a 2-day course providing you with plenty of opportunities to learn, practice and get climbing and will take place in the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. You must be at least 18 years old and have an average fitness level with respect to being able to walk a short way to the crag and partake in climbing. This qualification is designed for experienced assessors who want to move into an internal quality assurance role, overseeing and improving the quality of assessment within an organisation. The course develops an understanding of how to monitor assessment practices, support assessors, and ensure consistency and compliance with recognised standards. Learners gain practical experience in sampling assessment decisions, providing feedback, and maintaining quality assurance systems. This qualification is essential for those responsible for maintaining high standards and ensuring that assessment processes are fair, reliable, and effective.

This programme provides an ideal starting point for individuals who are new to leadership or preparing to take on their first supervisory role. Throughout the course, learners develop essential skills in communication, motivation, and team support, gaining a clear understanding of their responsibilities as a team leader. The Paediatric First Aid (PFA) course is a first aid qualification designed for learners with a professional responsibility for children and babies, as well as any other setting where you care for children. The purpose of the qualification is for the learner to attain the knowledge and practical competence required to address a range of paediatric first-aid situations.
This is a two-day course that covers a wide range of CPR and first aid skills, equipping the first aider to administer first aid to children and infants (babies). It's Ofqual-accredited and valid for three years, making it suitable for all industries and enabling you to meet HSE requirements. The first day will be self-led learning and must be completed before the in-person day. Once you have booked onto the course, we will send you the online learning link.
